Popsquire is happy to see Elizabeth Hasselbeck return to the View today. He has been feeling bad that Sherri Shepherd was getting all the heat since Elizabeth left on maternity leave. And, of course, today provided us a lovely collision between pop culture and law.

Elizabeth gave birth to a baby boy, took maternity leave, came back today, showed off the baby, and referred to herself as the “dairy queen” because she breast feeds all day long.

Elizabeth has a right to express milk at work! Seriously.
New York recently enacted a statute requiring employers to allow women break time, and make reasonable efforts to provide them a private location so they can express breast milk for their nursing children while at work.
This statute follows similar legislation passed in at least 13 other states within the past decade.
