Celebrity Robbery Update: Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian has joined the celebrity thieves club.

The LA Sheriff’s Dept. confirms that thieves stole jewelry and other items valued at more than $100,000 from Kourtney’s gated community home on Saturday night while she and her baby daddy were out for dinner.
Kourtney joins a list of other celebs, including Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton, Monica Belucci, Hayden Panettiere, Audrina Patridge, and Rachel Bilson who have been robbed in recent months. Here’s how the others went down.
Lindsay Lohan was robbed in August. Her momager, Dina, confirmed that a “safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed.” Yikes!

Sadly, this is the second time police have been called to Lindsay’s home for burglary since April.
Thieves made off with approximately $500,000 in jewelry from Orlando Bloom’s Hollywood Hills home In July.

In May, Monica Belluci probably had to excuse her French when she found out that thieves stole $110,000 worth of jewelry, two laptop’s and her Italian passport from her Paris apartment.

That same month, although it looks like Rachel Bilson is wearing everything she owns in this picture, thieves stole hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of clothing and jewelry from her closet.

In April, three men attack and robbed Pearl Jam bassist, Jeff Ament, at knife point outside of an Atlanta recording studio and got away with $3,000 in cash and more than $4,000 in computers and other equipment. Watch the video.
Also in April, we learned that Lindsay Lohan needs to clean up her act and her house. Surveillance video shows that two men tried to break in to Lindsay’s house, but the alarm scared them away before they got in. Police were confused at first, though, because her house looked like it had, in fact, been ransacked.

It was no April fool’s joke for Hayden Panettiere either. Law enforcement sources say thieves took $15,000 worth of jewelry from Hayden’s home while she was on vacation.

In February, Audrina Patridge announced via her blog that she was robbed. Although she described most of the stolen items as “replaceable,” some of the items were “very sentimental too.” And, like a good reality star, she caught the robbery on tape. Click here to watch.

And, no celebrity list would be complete without Paris Hilton. As usual, she may have started this trend by reporting a theft back in December 2008. Thieves got away with approximately $2 million in jewelry from the star’s LA home.
