Rihanna Asks Court For Jewelry Back
In a motion filed filed in court last week, Rihanna requested a return of approximately $1.4 million in jewelry that police seized as evidence following the infamous February 8 attack.
The jewelry doesn’t belong to Rihanna, and the lending companies presumably (and reasonably) want the pieces back. This shouldn’t be a problem. Unless the jewelry contained the only evidence of the attacker’s identity, the police should release the jewels, and prosecutors can use pictures at any future court proceedings.
