LAPD Officers On Leave Over Rihanna Photo Leak
Rihanna may not be the only good girl gone bad.

The LA Times reports that the LAPD has placed two female officers on a leave of absence as part of an ongoing investigation into who leaked the infamous Rihanna photo to TMZ.
A lawyer for one of the officers insists that his client had done nothing illegal, stating that his “client did not do anything for financial gain. She did not sell the photo.”
State law makes it a misdemeanor for officers to profit by leaking confidential reports or images, so if the officer didn’t make any money, the attorney may be right.
But, that doesn’t mean leaking the photo was right! Shame on the person who leaked that photo. It could seriously deter abused woman from coming forward out of fear that their bruised faces could be exposed to the world.
Shameful.
