O.J. Simpson doesn’t want the whole nine yards…
In anticipation of tomorrow’s sentencing, which could come as early as tomorrow, OJ’s lawyers are requesting minimum jail time for his felony robbery and kidnapping convictions. He faces life in prison, officials are recommending 18 years, and OJ is asking for six.
“Simpson has never previously been convicted of a crime,” the 61-year-old’s attorney, Gabriel Grasso, said in court papers. “Thus, he now stands before the court as a first-time offender.” He’s right. It’s hard to swallow, but the lawyer is right. Popsquire will keep you posted.
