Michael Jackson: The Pills, The Doctors, The Crimes?
Sadly, Michael Jackson is becoming known as the king of poppin’ pills.

Multiple reports say that: (1) MJ’s prior doctors supplied him with numerous prescription drugs — including Xanax, Demerol, and Percocet — over the years; (2) one doctor even warned MJ in writing that he was addicted to Demerol; and (3) MJ used his employees’ names to get prescription drugs.
This supports Popsquire’s point on TV Guide Network’s “Hollywood 411″ last night. Namely, if MJ’s doctors were consistently prescribing MJ drugs and he formed a habit, then the doctors’ conduct might form the basis for criminal charges similar to the charges in the Howard K. Stern case.
In that case, Stern and two of Anna Nicole Smith’s doctors were charged with unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance and obtaining fraudulent prescriptions, among other felonies.
Of course, MJ’s doctors may have several valid defenses available to them, including that MJ was doctor shopping and/or did not inform his docs of all the medications he was taking.
