Michael Jackson: Analyzing The Search Warrant
The warrant relied upon to search Dr. Conrad Murray’s Las Vegas home and office sheds light on both the investigation and, sadly, Michael Jackson’s life.
Like Popsquire has said all along, this case is about more than only a potential (and possibly difficult to prove) manslaughter charge. It’s about drug addiction, medical abuse, and celebrity power.
The proof is in the warrant. A judge determined that probable cause existed to search for evidence relating to manslaughter as well as charges for violations of the California Bus & Professions Code, including: excessive prescribing (section 725); prescribing to an addict (section 2241(d); and unfprofessional conduct (section 2234).
This means: (a) authorities believe MJ was an addict; and (2) that Dr. Murray helped feed the addiction.
Everyone keeps talking about MJ being a good dad. If he was an addict, could that really be true? So sad.
