Meet Debbie Rowe’s Attorney: Eric George
Debbie Rowe is making a lot of interesting choices these days.

In addition to waffling on whether she wants to fight for custody of Michael Jackson’s kids, she has retained Eric George (not the guy in the picture) as her attorney. Although he is well-respected and the son of California Supreme Court Justice, Ronald M. George, Eric is not a family law attorney.
His focus is business litigation, and his website bio lists the following among his many areas of practice: “real estate, contracts, securities, intellectual property, real estate, federal Indian law, malpractice, civil rights and constitutional issues.”
Missing from the list: family law. Given that Debbie may have two kids whose fate will be decided by family law principles, it’s odd — to say the least — that she didn’t retain an attorney well-versed in that area of the law. Perhaps she needs a business litigator to negotiate a business arrangement?
