Katherine Jackson Fires Probate Attorneys
The judge in the Michael Jackson probate case is not going to be happy about this.

TMZ reports that Katherine Jackson is firing her probate attorneys and will seek a continuance of today’s hearing, which was supposed to address the breadth of the powers the judge previously granted to the estate’s Special Administrators, John Branca and John McClain.
Yikes. A change in counsel could be a huge headache for the judge and the Special Administrators. First, the new attorneys will have to catch up on all prior events. Second, they likely will try to change the direction of any ongoing negotiation or strategy, even if only to show Katherine that they are different from prior counsel.
This definitely could result in delay, unless the judge goes easy on new counsel.
