Joe Jackson Seeks Allowance From Michael’s Estate
Joe Jackson isn’t stopping until he gets $26,000.

Michael Jackson’s father filed court papers on Friday asking for a $26,000 allowance from the estate. Joe says he depended on Michael’s money while he was alive and wants the trustees to grant him an allowance just like they granted Michael’s mom, Katherine.
He says that Michael gave money to Katherine who, in turn, shared the wealth for decades. Unfortunately, Katherine’s court-approved allowance is not enough to share, so Joe is left out in the cold.

MJ had a will. He listed Katherine and his children as the sole beneficiaries. He chose not to leave any money to Joe. It’s unlikely the court will change the terms of the will.
