With big curls and a long white coat, Janet Jackson made a surprise appearance at tonight’s BET Awards.

Clearly fighting back tears, Janet delivered this emotional message:
My entire family wanted to be here tonight, but it was just too painful. So, they elected me to speak with all of you and I’m gonna keep it very short. But, I’d just like to say that, to you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family and he will forever live in all of our hearts. On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all of your love. Thank you for all of your support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much.

may god be with you and your family at this time. people said that time will heal the pain but it will seven years since the passing of my father and it feel like yesterday.
so i can not tell you to be strong because i still feel the pain (07/07/02) and still cry for my dad.
i am the same age as Michael (8/4/58) just a few day older
