Jackson Guardianship Hearing Postponed Again
The hearing on the guardianship of Michael Jackson’s kids — Prince Michael, Paris, and Prince Michael II — was postponed for a second time.
The first hearing was scheduled for July 6 and re-scheduled until July 20. Now, the hearing will take place on August 3, which is the same date as the next hearing on the status of MJ’s will. Katherine Jackson remains as the kids’ guardian until then.
This postponement likely means that Debbie Rowe and Katherine are still communicating and working out a mutually agreeable arrangement for the kids. Given that Rowe is not objecting to the kids staying with Katherine until the next hearing, the outcome is looking good for Katherine.
The longer Rowe fails to seek guardianship and Katherine continues caring for the kids, a court will find it more and more difficult to do anything other than to grant Katherine guardianship.
