    2007

    Jan. 28: Lindsay checks into rehab at Wonderland Center.

    Feb. 16: Lindsay checks out of rehab.

    May 26: Lindsay is cited for suspicion of DUI after crashing her car into a Sunset Blvd. curb and shrubs.

    May 28: Lindsay checks into rehab at Promises for a 45-day stay.

    July 19: Lindsay is formally booked on DUI charge and released on $30,000 bail.

    July 13: Lindsay completes a 45-day stay in rehab and leaves with a voluntary alcohol bracelet attached to her body.

    July 24: Lindsay is arrested for suspicion of DUI after a brief car chase.  A police search finds a small amount of cocaine in her possession.

    Early Aug: Lindsay checks into Le Cirque rehab in Utah.

    Aug. 3: Lindsay is accused to taking clothing from an Elle Magazine shoot.  No charges were filed.

    Aug. 23: Lindsay enters plea bargain arising out of both DUI arrests.  She pleads: (1) no contest to two counts of DUI; (2) guilty to two counts to being under the influence of a controlled substance (cocaine); and (3) no contest to reckless driving.  She is ordered to serve one day in jail, attend an alcohol education class for 18 months, and will remain on probation for 36 months.

    Oct. 5: Lindsay leaves rehab.

    Nov. 15: Lindsay serves 84 minutes in jail.

    2008

    Jan. 26: Lindsay is accused of taking actress Masha Markova’s blonde mink coat, especially after photogs caught her wearing it!

    Feb. 14: Markova’s coat is mysteriously returned; supposedly, no one knows who returned it.

    Feb. 23: Lindsay settles lawsuit arising out of an October 2005 car crash on the famous Robertson Blvd.

    April 7: Lindsay’s former bodyguard files a lawsuit for alleged unpaid wages.

    May 19: Markova files a civil lawsuit against Lindsay arising from the mysterious mink-napping incident.

    July 15: As part of a routine progress hearing, a judge confirms that Lindsay is successfully complying with her probation terms.

    Sept. 2: LAPD Chief Bratton gives Lindsay a compliment, sorta.  He says that since Lindsay has “gone gay,” she is staying out of trouble, and the paparazzi are generally more well-behaved.

    Sept. 26: Rumors surface that Lindsay may seek to obtain a restraining order against her father, but nothing materializes.

    Oct. 22: Four plaintiffs file a lawsuit against Lindsay for negligence, assault, battery, and emotional distress, among other claims.  They claim that in July 2007, a drunk Lindsay hijacked a car in which they were passengers and drove like a mad woman down PCH “at speeds over 60 miles per hour, and sped through intersections controlled by red lights and stop signs without slowing down” and, at several points, “came very close to colliding with other vehicles.”  Each plaintiff is seeking at least $50,000 in damages.

    Oct. 28: Lindsay settles lawsuit filed by former bodyguard.

    Dec. 17: An Arizona man with a history of stalking Lindsay is arrested for disorderly conduct after attempting to get around nightclub security to meet her.

    2009

    March 13: Warrant for Lindsay’s arrest is issued for possible probation violation.

    March 15: Police arrive at Lindsay’s house due to commotion.  Inside, Lindsay and Sam allegedly are fighting, but police do not get involved.  Instead, the police stay outside to patrol the paparazzi.

    March 16: Lindsay’s lawyer shows up to court, and the arrest warrant is rescinded.

    April 3: Bar Marmont security allegedly is instructed not to let Lindsay into a party honoring Sam’s sister, clothing designer Charlotte Ronson.  The drama escalates with Lindsay allegedly trying to barge into Sam’s brother’s room.

    April 4: The locks on Sam’s house are seen being changed.

    April 6: Sam’s mother and sister ask Beverly Hills police how they can obtain a restraining order.  The police refer them to the court.

    April 14: Lindsay stars in a hilarious Funny or Die video, saying she is looking for someone to spend the rest of her probation with.

    May 13: LAPD respond to a call from a security company that the burglar alarm went off at Lindsay’s house.  Video soon surfaces showing that two men tried to break in, but were unsuccessful.  Nonetheless, officers think the house looked like it had been ransacked.  Lindsay is a dirty girl.

    May 19: Lindsay settles lawsuit arising out of the alleged mink coat-napping mystery.

    June 15: British authorities confirm that they want to question Lindsay in connection with jewelry missing from a magazine shoot.
