Jon Gosselin Returns Money, Avoids Court Contempt

Attorneys for Jon and Kate Gosselin confirm that Jon returned money missing from the couple’s joint bank account today. This means that Jon will avoid contempt of court and that Kate can pay some bills.
Did anyone really believe Kate didn’t have money for bills? Probably not, but it still was wrong to withdraw approximately $180,000 from a joint bank account without Kate’s permission.
Kate’s attorney also told the judge that they will meet with the arbitrator next month for a two-day conference. Jon claims that Kate withdrew approximately $30,000 from the account, so the arbitrator can take up that issue during the conference.
