Michael Jackson says his health is so Bad he can’t travel to London to testify in a $7 million lawsuit!
As a reminder, the Prince of Bahrain claims he paid Michael an advance on two albums, a stage show and a planned autobiography, but Michael never delivered.
Today, Michael’s attorney asked the court if the former pop star can testify via web/video from the United States because “it would be unwise for [Michael] to travel, given what he’s got now.” He refused to elaborate “for the obvious reasons.” Not surprisingly, the Prince’s attorney objected, arguing that the medical evidence presented by Michael’s legal team was unsatisfactory because his condition can be treated with a bandage.
The court is expected to hear testimony from medical experts and make a decision as early as Thursday. Popsquire will keep you posted!
