Eddie Cibrian is suing Life & Style magazine for defamation because the mag ran a story about him allegedly cheating on LeAnn Rimes.
As a reminder, Eddie did not file a defamation lawsuit against any of the publications that claimed he was cheating on his wife with LeAnn Rimes. Perhaps that’s because truth is always a defense to defamation!
Even if truth is on his side this time, a lawsuit could be a costly and dangerous path for the actor. If he starts suing publications for false stories, not only will he run up major legal bills, but he will make people think stories are true when he doesn’t sue.
