Jon & Kate: How To Divide The Estate?
TMZ has uncovered the sealed Gosselin divorce papers, which state in part: “plaintiff and defendant have been unable to agree as to the equitable distribution” of their marital property. So, now what?
This kind of statement is common in any divorce, especially at the beginning stages. It’s a bit more complicated, however, than typical Hollywood celebrity divorces because, unlike California, Pennsylvania is not a community property state.
It’s an “equitable distribution” state, meaning that marital assets are not automatically split in half but are divided according to several factors, including, among others: (1) each spouse’s contribution; (2) the length of the marriage; (3) the source of each spouse’s income; and (4) who has custody of the children.
Popsquire hopes the family can resolve this dispute easily and without affecting the kids too much. Yikes!

–(1) each spouse’s contribution
Who contributed more? Kate popped the kids out, and, let’s be real, the kids are their strongest asset… People now tune in not because they want to see what it’s like to raise eight kids, but to watch those little cuties for an hour. Every moment that Kate is on the screen is basically a waste of screen time.
this shall be really interesting to see unfold!
[...] How will Jon and Kate divide their estate (hint: she gets it all) [Pop Squire] [...]
I think it will play a big roll to see if Jon had actually cheated on Kate while they were still married. She is going to have him by the —-s you know she is madder than hell that he is flaunting his new younger girlfriend out in the public soo soon after the devorce was announced. He must think he will get some big bucks if he is living the lavish life style he seems to be doing now.
