Chris Brown Plea Bargain Countdown: No Kids Choice Awards For Chris Brown, But What About Rihanna?
After an online petition continued to garner attention, Chris Brown has decided to withdraw from Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards. The evidence is in this picture provided by Popsquire’s friends at Popwrap:
Brown released this statement, (reasonably) blaming his ongoing silence on the legal proceedings:
Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated. While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so.
But, what about Rihanna? The online petition at the center of this controversy, which now has more than 11,000 signatures, also asks Nickelodeon to remove Rihanna from the list of nominees, because she did not make “the rational decision to accept the no-contact order and end the relationship.”

yes she should!! just likie he is giving kids the impression it is ok to hit woman, she is given them the impression that it is ok for that to happen to and forgiving the person who did it to you is the right thing to do. sadly enough kids look up to people like this now of days and im sorry but i dont want my daughter to ever think that is ok!!!
