Miley Cyrus debuted her new video for the song, Party In The USA. Although there are some poles in close proximity, Miley opts for a swing set. No underage stripping to report to authorities.
Miley Cyrus’ alleged stalker won’t be making the climb out of jail any time soon.
A Georgia judge ruled that the man accused of attempted stalking of Miley is a danger to her and refused to reduce his bond. This means that his bond remains at $50,000 as he faces misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, obstruction and criminal attempted stalking of the 16-year-old star.
This judge likely knows the bond is the only way this guy will stay in jail. Stalkers rarely do much jail time unless they are repeat offenders and/or they disobey restraining orders.

Miley Cyrus is getting a lot of attention for her Teen Choice pole dance, but she hopes people also will focus on her eBay charity auction.

The pop star is holding a charity auction on eBay to raise money for her new family foundation to help kids. Fans can bid to be a “Roadie for the day” on Miley’s new concert tour or buy wardrobe items donated from her own closet.
No, the auction does not include the short shorts from Monday night’s stripper pole performance.

Lawyers don’t typically do math, but 18-2=16, which is how old Miley Cyrus is as she performs this pole dance on tonight’s Teen Choice Awards. She’s definitely not “legal” in many respects.
As precedent, Britney Spears was 19 when she stripped off her clothes on MTV’s VMAs.
Sadly, Miley Cyrus is joining the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by stalkers.
On Tuesday, a Georgia man was arrested on suspicion of stalking the Hannah Montana star. On Wednesday, a Georgia court granted a restraining order against him, and today police are searching his home.
In most jurisdictions, stalking is only a misdemeanor, and stalkers often walk away with little or no jail time. Maybe the police will find evidence to charge this guy with additional crimes and keep him away from 16-year-old Miley.

Just when this feud was heating up, Jamie Foxx apologized to Miley Cyrus. Smart move, Jamie.
Like a typical lawyer, Popsquire loves a good feud.
Check out this recording from Jamie Foxx’s Sirius satellite radio show, The Foxxhole. Jamie and his team hurl insults at Miley Cyrus, suggesting, among other things, that she “do some heroin” and “make a sex tape and grow up.”
This video shows two collisions between pop culture and law:
An Asian woman thinks Miley Cyrus is no class act, so she filed a class action!
Representing one million Asian Pacific Islanders who live in LA County, plaintiff Lucie J. Kim says the now-infamous photo of Miley and her friends slanting their eyes constitutes a civil rights violation. She claims that Miley “knew or should have known that her image would be publicly disseminated via the media, which Cyrus knew focused on her private life, specifically TMZ.” The plaintiff wants $4,000 per class member, for a total of $4 billion!
This makes no sense. And, that’s Popsquire’s official legal opinion.

A twisted hacker broke into Miley’s YouTube account this weekend and posted a message stating, “Miley died this morning after being hit by a drunk driver.” This is the second hacking incident involving Miley this year!
Popsquire’s perspective…
These hackers better not mess with the Miley and Mandy footage. Popsquire (and the FBI) will hunt you down! The federal punishment for hacking ranges from a fine to twenty years in prison. This wide range of punishment depends upon the seriousness of the criminal activity and what damage the hacker has done.
Miley Cyrus has at least Seven Things To Hate about Josh Holly!
This is the guy whose home the FBI just raided for allegedly hacking into Miley’s gmail account and posting naughty photos of her earlier this year. According to Wired.com, he repeatedly bragged about breaking into Miley’s e-mail account, stealing her photos, and boasted that authorities would never find him because he moved so often.
No charges have been filed to date. Popsquire will keep you posted!
