For today’s collision between pop culture and Catholic laws, Mel Gibson’s pregnant girlfriend says they have no plans to make it legal.

On a British morning show today, Oksana Grigorieva said: “Actually we have no plans to marry whatsoever. I haven’t thought about it – we haven’t spoken about it.”
Mel probably learned a lesson from his first marital split. Marriage could lead to divorce, and divorce could lead to a multi-million dollar loss. Plus, Oksana is set. No matter what happens, Mel will have to provide child support for the new Gibson family member.
If you missed Popsquire reporting the latest Mel Gibson news on last night’s episode of HLN’s “Issues With Jane,” don’t fret. Below is an encore presentation. Enjoy!
Like another Shakespearean play, two “noble” media houses are battling it out over Mel. Hollyscoop reports that Mel attacked the male clubgoer in the above photo “because he was fed up with everyone trying to snap a photo of him partying,” while TMZ claims it’s all made up.
A few facts appear undisputed: (1) Mel and pregnant girlfriend Oksana Gregorieva attended a launch party for Hollywood’s Playhouse on Wednesday night; (2) a reporter who had been denied photo access sent her male friend to take a picture of Mel; and (3) that man filed a police report for battery over a ripped shirt.
Like a good lawyer, Popsquire has questions: (1) was Mel drinking?; and (2) did the alleged victim suffer any harm other than a ripped shirt? If the answer to both questions is no, then the police likely will stay out of this.
Either way, this story really may be about how far reporters and/or paparazzi are willing to go in order to snap photos of celebs and how much celebs must endure.
Mel Gibson must be thankful that California is a no-fault divorce state.

Robyn Gibson filed for divorce on April 13. Now, TMZ confirms that Mel’s girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, is pregant with his child and in her second trimester. This won’t affect how Mel and Robyn split up their estimated $900 million estate under California’s divorce laws, but maybe Mel should be worried about them Catholic laws…
Mel Gibson’s wife of 28 years, Robyn Gibson, filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Without a pre-nup, community property rules in California may require the couple to split their estimated $900 million fortune. Now, that’s Payback!
TMZ has published a report by the Office of Independent Review concluding that three L.A. County Sheriff’s Department employees gave preferential treatment to Mel Gibson during his DUI arrest last July.
Um, duh! Is anyone shocked?
Actually, what’s shocking is that the same report found that there was no preferential treatment involved in Paris Hilton’s arrest for driving on a suspended license while on probation.
Maybe the cops were worried that Mel was packing a lethal weapon?!
