The settlement reportedly is worth $45 million: $32.5m for Conan, $7.5m for his staff, and $4.5m for his executive producer.
Most importantly, NBC is permitting Conan to start a new show on a competing network as early as September. That’s a pretty significant concession by NBC, but Conan still has to find a new home and is prohibited from using any material he previously created for NBC.
Question: If you got $45 million, would you rush to get another job?
