Katherine Heigl Makes It Legal
December 24th, 2007Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley got hitched yesterday, according to CelebTV.com. Congrats, Izzie! Marriage is not just a commitment about love, however. It comes with approximately 300 legal rights and obligations, including:
- The right not to testify in court against each other.
- The right to make medical decisions on each other’s behalf.
- The right seek wrongful death compensation.
- The right to inherit money in the absence of a will.
- The right to worker’s compensation death benefits.
