Boy George, who was arrested last year on charges of assault and false imprisonment after a male escort told police that George and another man had handcuffed him to a bed in George’s London apartment, can’t get a U.S. work visa.
Without commenting specifically about George, U.S. State Department spokesman Tom Casey recently told reporters that there “are often difficulties for individuals who either are currently subject to criminal charges or otherwise may have criminal records.”
Below is a clipping from his website in which Boy expresses his disappointment in having to cancel his U.S. tour.
