Edis Kayalar, the man accused of trying to extort $100,000 from the Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber turned himself into German police last night and is expected in court today.

That’s the lesson Edis Kayalar may learn as he faces possible federal charges in Los Angeles for allegedly threatening to sell a photo taken of the Cindy Crawford’s and Rande Gerber’s seven-year-old daughter.
According to TMZ, the photo depicts the young girl “bound to a chair and gagged” as part of a cops and robbers game and was stolen from a former nanny. Cindy and Rande say they were not aware of the photo prior to the alleged extortion.
Note to criminals: Stop with the celebrity extortion. Not only is it wrong, but you will get caught. It’s one of the easiest crimes to track and convict.
