Brandy Norwood’s legal troubles keep piling up…

In a lawsuit filed last week in LA Superior Court, 83-year-old Donald Lite claims that Brandy is partially responsible for the injuries he suffered during a 2006 car crash with the pop star and another woman. As a reminder, Brandy was involved in a three-car accident that left one woman dead. No criminal charges were filed against Brandy, because authorities determined that the other woman hit Lite’s car first, and Brandy crashed into her.
So, why did Donald wait until now to sue? Two possible answers: (1) the statute of limitations is running; and (2) Brandy has a new hit song, which means she may be making money.

According to these court documents obtained by TMZ, Sonja Norwood (Brandy Norwood’s mom) is suing Kim Kardashian and her sisters for: (1) conversion; (2) breach of fiduciary duty; (3) declaration of constructive trust; and (4) unfair competition, with (5) a request for an injunction.
Mama Norwood alleges that Kim — while working as Brandy’s stylist and after in cohorts with her sisters — used mama’s credit card to run up over $120,000 in unauthorized charges.
Popsquire ponders…
- Is this why Kim appeared in the sex video with Brandy’s brother, Ray-J?
- Did she think she was working off the debt?
Um, is Popsquire the only one being bombarded by Donna Summer’s hit, “She works hard for the money?!?”

TMZ is reporting that Brandy Norwood may not be facing criminal charges for last year’s car crash that resulted in a woman’s death. TMZ also claims that Brandy may not even be at fault. It turns out that the other driver may have struck the vehicle in front of her before Brandy made any contact and that she (the other driver) had traces of weed in her system.
To celebrate on Brandy’s behalf, sing along to her 1998 hit, Top Of the World…
Bring Brandy back on America’s Got Talent! She’s way better than Sharon Osbourne!
