Donna Martin negotiates!
A 90210 rep confirms that Tori Spelling is in “final negotiations” to appear in multiple episodes of the CW hit. The lawyers better get this deal done soon!

Deliver Popsquire’s mail to a new zip code — 90210, please!
Last night’s 90210 clearly was dedicated to Popsquire. That’s the only explanation for so many collisions between pop culture and law! In case you missed the dramatic episode, here’s what you need to know:
Stop crying! It’s so not a big deal if you missed Popsquire’s *live* appearance on Friday’s episode of CNN’s “Prime News” discussing 90210’s skinny minnies. You can watch below…
Although last night’s episode of 90210 provided an end to the Kelly Taylor Baby Daddy Mystery, the result brings a tear to Popsquire’s eye. It’s supposed to be Brenda with Dylan, not Kelly.
TV always gets soulmates wrong. Joey was supposed to be with Dawson, not Pacey. Period.
Keep hope alive!
Shannen Doherty is playing hardball, claiming she doesn’t have time to do more than four episodes of the best thing that’s happened to the CW in years — 90210, of course. So, it’s time for Project Donna Martin to kick in to high gear.
Tori Spelling must return. She may be the only one who can provide more clues to help solve the Kelly Taylor Baby Daddy Mystery! Start the chant now: Donna Martin negotiates! Donna Martin Negotiates!
After two episodes of 90210 and numerous ambiguous references to Kelly Taylor’s mystery baby daddy, it’s time to examine the evidence. Here’s what we know thus far:
There are only three possibilities: Dylan McKay, Brandon Walsh, and Steve Sanders. We can eliminate David because that would be sorta like incest. Plus, it just never would happen. It would be highly unusual for Brandon to abandon a child. This sounds like classic Dylan; however, the curly blonde hair is so Steve Sanders. It better not be Steve Sanders!
Popsquire will keep you posted as this case develops…
Check out this clip from last night’s episode of CNN’s Showbiz Tonight. Popsquire’s pop culture legal expert, Russell Wetanson, discusses Jennifer Aniston’s upcoming role on 30 Rock as well as controversy surrounding 90210. Enjoy!
Fans from many zip codes tuned in to watch last night’s premiere of the CW’s 90210!
Of course, Popsquire was among the 4.9 million who watched and saw several collisions between pop culture and law — trespass, theft, and drugs, among others. In case you can’t get enough of the new 90210, tune into CNN’s “Showbiz Tonight” at 11pm tonight to watch Popsquire’s pop culture legal expert, Russell Wetanson, discussing whether the show crossed the lines of decency.
Until then, enjoy this recent CNN clip of Popsquire discussing Tori Spelling…
Join Popsquire in praying that tonight’s resurrection of 90210 is halfway decent! And, for a reminder about why this show represents a collision between pop culture and law, enjoy this encore presentation of Popsquire discussing 90210 on CNN’s “Showbiz Tonight.”
Like a typical lawyer, Popsquire LOVES a good rhetorical question…
Popsquire hearts Jennie Garth!
Kelly Taylor and Brenda Walsh are on set together again for the CW’s 90210 spinoff, and Jennie Garth admits that although she was worried about working with Shannen Doherty again, “It wasn’t as bad as [she] thought it would be.” Further, Jennie Garth is urging everyone to start a “Bring Back Donna Martin” campaign.
You gotta love a grass roots campaign, even if it starts in Beverly Hills! In fact, Popsquire already started the chant, “Donna Martin Negotiates,” on CNN recently. Check it out and sign this petition ASAP…
No zip code gets special treatment!
With this motto in mind, the CW has decided not to provide advance screeners of 90210 to critics based on a “strategic marketing decision.” While this makes many critics (and bloggers!) suspicious of the show’s quality, the CW contends that it is “not hiding anything” and, instead, simply wants to continue “riding the curiosity and anticipation into premiere night, and letting all our constituents see it at the same time.”
Hmm…maybe the CW is pulling a Perry Mason — you know, waiting to spring a great surprise on us? For nostalgia, enjoy these Brenda/Dylan moments…
