  • Updated Timeline: Britney’s Pop Culture/Law Collision

Popsquire is exhausted from today’s Britney events.  Like a good lawyer, though, he completed a quick update to the Britney 2007 and 2008 timelines, focusing on potential upcoming events:

Jan. 14: Court continues status quo, i.e., Britney does not have any visitation rights.

Jan. 25: Court hearing related to Britney’s August 2006 traffic incident that resulted in misdemeanor charge.

Feb. 4: Court hearing on lawyers’ motion to be relieved as Britney’s counsel.

Feb. 19: Court hearing regarding custody of children.  This date was set a while ago, so Popsquire wonders if it will be vacated.

    Apr. 9: Trial begins.

Bottom line:  Unless Britney files an ex parte application between now and Feb. 19 or April 9, there will not be a court-sanctioned opportunity for visitation.  Of course, if K-Fed and Britney can try to work it out without court intervention, but Popsquire isn’t putting his money on that one.
