Dr. Phil Filled In As Friend?
Dr. Phil must be reading Popsquire! In a statement to USA Today, Dr. Phil says that he visited Britney in the hospital as “a friend and ally of the family,” not as a psychologist. Very clever, Dr. Phil. Very clever.

Popsquire has been blogging about the potential ethical issues facing Dr. Phil if he had visited Britney as an unlicensed psychologist. If you don’t believe me, check out this, that and the other post.
If Dr. Phil did not take on the role of “psychologist,” then he may escape all ethical and legal issues. The operative word is “if.” Popsquire must learn more about the conversations that occured pre, during, and post visit to provide a more thorough analysis.
