  • B.S. Legal Papers

An attorney claiming to represent Britney Spears filed these papers in Federal Court yesterday seeking to move Britney’s legal troubles to a new venue — from state court to federal court.

    Popsquire explains…

In order to remove a case from state court to federal court, there generally must be either: (1) parties from different states; or (2) a federal issue at hand.

Here, this attorney claims that Britney is allegedly being deprived of medications covered by the Federal Food Drugs and Cosmetics Act and that “she is being confined by the conservator to the private prison of her own home, with no opportunity to enjoy even a modicum of liberty or privacy whatsoever.”

    Popsquire’s perspective…

This is B.S., and I don’t mean “Britney Spears.” An opposition must be filed within 30 days. Popsquire trusts it will be filed and won.  In the meantime, however, the case automatically moves to federal court…for now.
