Britney Timeline: Updated (Again)
According to People, Britney Spears’ attorneys are not quitting, despite previously having filed a motion to be relieved as her counsel. The court docket does not reflect any withdrawal of the motion yet, but Popsquire will trust People for now…
Like a good lawyer, though, Popsquire has completed a quick update to the Britney 2007 and 2008 pop culture/law collision timelines, focusing on recent and upcoming events:
Recent…
Jan. 15: Complaint filed against Dr. Phil, arising out of his hospital visit with Britney.
Jan. 21: Britney attends deposition for approximately 2.5 hours.
Jan. 23: Britney unsuccessfully seeks to modify court’s no-visitation order.
Upcoming…
Jan. 25: Court hearing related to Britney’s August 2006 traffic incident that resulted in misdemeanor charge. Popsquire is unaware whether Britney intends to appear for this hearing. Stay tuned!
Feb. 4: Court hearing on lawyers’ motion to be relieved as Britney’s counsel. Presumably, this will be taken off the court’s calendar soon.
Feb. 19: Court hearing regarding custody of children. This date was set a while ago, so Popsquire wonders if it will be vacated.
Apr. 9: Trial begins.
