Britney: The Heat Is On
If you are just tuning in and haven’t looked at this post below, here are the basics. Cops were called to Britney’s house because she allegedly refused to hand over the kids to K-Fed’s bodyguard. Popsquire hopes everyone is ok, especially the kids.
According to Perez, Mark Kaplan, K-Fed’s attorney, intends to seek an ex parte hearing tomorrow to address these issues.
What’s an ex parte hearing?
It’s just a way to get a judge to address an issue more quickly than s/he otherwise would do in accordance with regular court rules. Ex parte hearings are discouraged by the courts and typically are granted only in exceptional circumstances.
