Rob Lowe Settles One Nanny Lawsuit
Nanny Gate 2008 is almost over!

Popsquire followers likely remember that Rob Lowe and his wife sued former nannies Jessica Gibson and Laura Boyce last year for allegedly breaching their confidentiality agreements. In response, both nannies hired Gloria Allred and filed lawsuits alleging sexual harassment (among many other claims) against the Lowes. Then, Gloria and her clients took a short media tour, and the litigation continued.
Now, the Lowes and Gibson have filed court papers requesting dismissal of their respective lawsuits. This can mean only one thing: settlement! Public records do not disclose whether the Lowes paid Gibson any money, but it’s pretty much a guaranteed part of any civil lawsuit settlement.
When will the other nanny rock the settlement cradle?
UPDATE: The Lowes have settled with both former nannies, and all parties filed requests for dismissal with the court. Maybe Gloria Allred needs more time to fight Nadya Suleman.
