Bad Boy George!
After Boy George declined to testify in his defense, a London jury found him guilty of false imprisonment today.
As a reminder, Boy George has been on trial arising out of accusations that he beat Norwegian male escort/model, Audun Carlsen, with a metal chain as he tried to flee George’s London flat last April.
George was released on bail until his January 16 sentencing date; however, Judge David Radford warned him that he was likely to face jail. “The fact that your bail is being continued does not imply that this will be dealt with by a non-custodial sentence. I don’t want any false expectations created.”
Get it? False expectations. False imprisonment. Judges like puns, too!
