Britney vs. Conservatorship
Jamie Spears remains in control of Britney’s Circus!
Contrary to speculation that Britney Spears’ conservatorship might be lifted this week, it actually was made permanent today. Britney didn’t object to the court’s ruling, which leaves her dad in charge of her estate, finances, and legal affairs.

This is a surprising development, given that Britney is competent enough to film a documentary for MTV, perform on Good Morning America, and prepare for a world tour.
Sadly, it also may affect her ability to gain additional visitation or custody rights with her kids. Think about it — if one court still thinks she is unable to handle her life, then it’s a leap to expect another court to conclude she’s fit to handle her kids.
