Boy George, who is no stranger to drug arrests, is speaking out about Amy Winehouse and George Michael: “When I look at Amy and George, I know where they are, I know what they are,” he tells Britain’s Times. “I know what it’s like to be clacking, sweaty and chaotic and to have no clarity.”
Encouraging them to stay away from drugs, he says: “Seek the wisdom to soothe the soul.” Popsquire is confident that both Amy and George Michael will be thrilled with this very specific advice.
Meanwhile, Boy George is due back in a London court next month to face a charge of false imprisonment following last year’s arrest for he and another man allegedly handcuffed a male escort to a bed in Boy George’s London apartment. He intends to plead not guilty.
