Flight Attendant To J-Lo: It Ain’t Funny!
In June 2008, a flight attendant filed a $5 million lawsuit, claiming that J-Lo’s dog chomped her leg on a plane trip two years ago. Now, the plaintiff’s attorney tells the NY Daily News that Marc Anthony is being added as a defendant to the New York federal court lawsuit because he may be the dog’s registered owner.

New York courts have long recognized a cause of action that imposes strict liability on the owner for injuries inflicted by his dog. If the victim can establish that the dog is vicious and that the owner knew or should have known about such vicious propensities, then the owner will be responsible for monetary damages.
