Andy Dick’s Charges Deflated
Because you are a faithful Popsquire follower, you know that Andy Dick was arrested on July 16 in Murrieta, California, on drug and sexual battery charges after he allegedly pulled down a 17-year-old girl’s tank top in a bar parking lot.
He was later released on $5,000 bail and charged for felony possession of narcotics, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor sexual battery. Now, the sexual battery accusations are being converted into assault charges because, according to the DA’s office, “It didn’t appear to be an overt sexual act.”
Yeah, that clearly would have been Popsquire’s conclusion, too. Tearing off a young girl’s clothes without permission seems totally non-sexual. Don’t ya think?
