Politics and pop culture are inextricably intertwined this year. Whether Popsquire questions Angelina Jolie’s allegiance, analyzes Jackson Browne’s lawsuit against John McCain, or applauds Paris Hilton’s decision to enter the election, the collision is undeniable. So, it’s time to give in to the movement and register to vote!

To help with that process is Declare Yourself, a national nonpartisan, nonprofit campaign to empower and encourage every eligible 18-year-old in America to register and vote in the 2008 presidential election. Declare Yourself, founded by television producer and philanthropist Norman Lear, was launched in 2003 and helped register more than one million young people in the 2004 and 2006 elections.
