The Dark Knight Proceeds With Caution
Following reports that Christian Bale might have to admit guilt to walk away from his mother’s assault allegations, prosecutors at England’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS – not CHPS!) have determined that there is “insufficient evidence to afford a realistic prospect of conviction, and accordingly the police have been advised that no further action should be taken against Mr. Bale.” According to People, Bale is expected to receive a “caution.”
Without any statement from Bale or acknowledgment that he may have admitted guilt, the resolution of this batty incident remains clouded in as much mystery as the incident itself. For the sake of Bale and his family, let’s hope there is no sequel!
