TMZ reports that Shia LaBeouf is a wanted man/boy. An outstanding arrest warrant seeks Shia for failing to appear for a court appearance, arising out of a February 17 misdemeanor charge for public smoking in violation of Burbank’s public smoking ban.

Popsquire’s perspective…

1. Stop smoking!
2. If you smoke, Popsquire hopes you do so in any of the following areas in Burbank: (a) any city park or facility; (b) within 20 feet from any building entrance; and (c) sidewalks and pedestrian areas in downtown Burbank.

Update: Attorney Michael Norris appeared in court today and plead not guilty on Shia’s behalf. A pre-trial hearing is now set for April 24, and trial is on calendar for July 11. Don’t bother marking your calendars, though, because this case is ripe for a plea bargain.
