Updated Timeline: Britney’s Pop Culture/Law Collision

Like a good lawyer, Popsquire has updated his previous timeline of Britney’s pop culture/law collision for leisure weekend reading (and tranferring to power point presentations if you so desire).

Jan. 2: Britney’s attorneys file a motion to be relieved as her counsel, allegedly after she didn’t show for the day’s deposition.

Jan. 3: Britney appears for a 14 minute deposition Later that evening, however…Britney refuses to turn kids over to K-Fed’s bodyguar, police get involved, kids thankfully are safe, and Cedars admits Britney for 5150 involuntary mental evaluation.

Jan. 4: Britney loses custody and visitation rights, at least temporarily.

Jan. 5: Britney’s 5150 evaluation ends and she leaves the hospital, allegedly accompanied by Dr. Phil.

     Upcoming events…

Jan. 14: Britney’s next court hearing regarding temporary loss of custody and visitation rights, according to this court order.

Jan. 25: Court hearing related to Britney’s August 2006 traffic incident that resulted in misdemeanor charge.

Feb. 4: Court hearing on lawyers’ motion to be relieved as Britney’s counsel.

Feb. 19: Court hearing regarding custody of children.  This date was set a while ago, so Popsquire wonders if it may change in light of the sooner Jan. 14 hearing and all other events.

Anytime: Watch out for Johnny Wright to enforce the default that was entered against Britney in his Florida lawsuit for alleged failure to pay commissions.

Again, Popsquire hereby offers his services to any accredited law school interested in offering a course entitled “Britney and The Law, 101.”  It promises to be a multi-platform, cross-discipline, and all-encompassing legal discussion.  Plus, Popsquire is an engaging speaker.  I promise.
