According to TMZ, Cedars Sinai Hospital has placed Britney on a “5150 hold,” which refers to a section of the California Welfare and Institutions Code.
As Popsquire explained yesterday, a person typically must be exhibiting behavior that is a danger to herself or others in order to be held for evaluation and generaly cannot be held involuntarily for more than 72 hours without a court order.
