  • Eddie Murphy Gets Married….For Real?

According to People Magazine, Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds were married yesterday in the French Polynesian island of Bora Bora.  Good for them!

But…Popsquire wonders if this wedding is invalid.  Many travel sites (like this one here) expressly inform travelers that weddings in French Polynesia may not be valid in the United States and that couples should perform a civil ceremony at home and then tie the knot in style abroad.

To marry legally in Bora Bora, you must stay 40 days and file for residency, which is why many couples simply hold only a symbolic ceremony on the island.

Eddie, is this wedding for real?  Or just for a dreamgirl?  Popsquire is politely awaiting a response…
