Boy Meets Booze
December 22nd, 2007Former child star Danielle Fishel (remember her from “Boy Meets World?”) was arrested in the OC Thursday morning on a drunken driving warrant. Seriously, celebs (and I use that term loosely), just say TAXI.
Let me be clear. If you are drinking and driving, you deserve to be punished, but I also think you should know your rights…here are a few tips that DUI attorneys often share with California residents:
- Politely decline to answer questions without an attorney.
- Decline to take any field sobriety tests.
- Police are supposed to give you a choice of a breath or blood test.
- Make sure your attorney calls the DMV Driver Safety Office within 10 days and demands a hearing to contest your license suspension.
